JOB TITLE'S: Voice Architect &  Senior Voice Engineer

 

Location : Minneapolis, MN

 

Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unified Contact Centre-ICM/CVP, CIPT, etc

 

Position Overview:

Senior unified communication Engineer responsible for designing, installing, implementing, administering, and maintaining voice systems, contact centers and assisting next level management in application evaluation and platform performance metrics. Candidate must have a deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in analyzing, designing, installing, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting application & telecommunications systems. Responsible for engineering, capacity planning, support the creation and the maintenance of voice disaster recovery plans, and assist in monitoring all voice performance activities globally act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the respective areas. These are technically challenging positions and hence the candidates must have in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the respective areas.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Designing, installing, implementing, administering, and maintaining voice systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

•         Key Telecom Design, Document, Monitoring, Integration

•         Responsible for design, provisioning and troubleshooting IP Telephony, Cisco Unified Communications Manager Enterprise & Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Call Manager, Voice gateways, Unity servers and IP Phones used within the enterprise 

•         Responsible for design, provisioning and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Contact Center, Cisco unified IP IVR, CVP Contact Center applications used within the enterprise. NICE Voice recording system

•         Provide tier II/tier III steady state support for Cisco voice systems and infrastructure.

•         Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves complex voice problems

•         Coordinates the installation, configuration, and maintenance of voice/network components

•         Reviews facilities requirements and system interdependencies

•         Defines disaster recovery plans and develops voice test plans

•         Assesses voice performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the enterprise

•         Provides telecommunications support and escalates with carrier and/or hardware/software vendors

•         Monitors services to ensures compliance of service-level agreements (SLAs)

•         Oversees the integrity of the telecommunications architecture

•         Prioritizes, schedules and monitors multiple technical projects, developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans/schedules (and using same to provide senior management with accurate and complete status information).

•         Provides timely and complete project status reports to supervisor as requested

Should be open to work in a global distributed environment with Cross-cultural sensitivity. The person in this role is expected to respond to high impact issues on a 24x7 basis, participating in a rotating on-call schedule with other team members.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

 

•         8-12 years of large-scale, enterprise-class planning, design, implementation and support experience

•         Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience

•         Advanced certification within field to support design and implementation of Call Manager and Contact Center Application

•         Expertise in design, provisioning, and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications Manager Enterprise & Cisco Unity Connection

•         Expertise with SIP based protocols and Session Boarder controllers

•         Expertise with Cisco UCCX/UCCE design, provisioning and troubleshooting

•         Expertise with voice systems including dial configuration and network routing, SIP, and PRI

•         Experience with Cisco Emergency Responder E-911 system design, provisioning and troubleshooting

•         Experience with Cisco routing & switching technologies

•         Able to identify means of integrating technical support requirements with enterprise processes and Strategies.

•         Proven experience identifying technological opportunities to meet client needs.

•         Experience creating information system solutions to meet the needs of business partners.

Ability to partner with appropriate technical consultants, experts, and managers.
