Job Title: Unix Administration
Work Location: Dallas, TX / Bothell, WA
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description:
• Unix Administration with expertise in Installation, patch installation, Configuration, Tuning and Deploying applications for weblogic domains
• Deploy new releases of telecom e-commerce applications to different environments of webogic domains (DEV, QA, and Production).
• Monitor and troubleshoot weblogic domains installed on Sun Solaris Unix
• Work with the different teams (dev & QA) to resolve any weblogic domain and environment related issue.
• Evaluate new updates for weblogic 10 and make recommendations to ensure compatibility and effectiveness
• Execute variety of tasks with limited supervision
• Supporting Development and QA environments
• Web Logic Administration, WLST Scripting (Web logic scripting tool)
• Exposure to Unix Administration
• Involved in some DBA activities using Oracle database
• iPlanet
• BEA Weblogic
