Job Description -

Core Skills and Responsibilities

•               Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related discipline

•               Minimum 4 years of experience in Performance Testing role

•               Ideally experienced in the HP Toolset including Quality Centre, Performance Centre and at least one additional performance testing toolset.

•               Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-Functional Test Phases.

•               Assist with the planning for and where appropriate management of all Performance Testing

•               Through analysis of requirements specifications and design documents use structured techniques to identify testable conditions.

•               Draft and execute Performance test plans and scripts ensuring alignment with standards. Where appropriate communicate Test Results.

•               Create data, conduct tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and /or customer requirements.

•               Ensure that Performance tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved.

•               Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of software quality assurance strategies.

•               Assist with the implementation and management of QA & Test processes to support ATF Performance Testing activities.

•               Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services, IT Solutions functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solutions.

•               Assist with development of Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post-Implementation Reviews as appropriate

Additional Skills requirements

•               Good experience in client-facing roles

•               Ideally experience of leading small teams in project delivery

•               Experience working within multi-location teams

•               Excellent knowledge of current Test Tools in the market place

•               Excellent attention to detail

•               Motivated by delivery

•               Ability to work and team effectively with clients and other management personnel across geographies

•               Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change

•               Strong time management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills.

•               Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions

•               Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements

•               Good numerate / mathematical ability

•               Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options

•               Ability to prioritize personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectives

•               English language skills — excellent written and verbal communication
