9to9 Software Solutions is looking for DB2, LUW DBA  for our client in Lansing, MI.

Duration: 6 months plus

Location: Lansing, MI.

Rate is open and they will do phone screens

This is a position for a DB2, LUW DBA 

Requires at least 5 years of experience supporting multi-server enterprise environments.

Position incluces setting up processes and performing DBA support work. Must be able to perform troubleshooting for utility issues and have a solid understanding of the Korn shell scripting language. Ability to script and troubleshoot is key!

The person will work with the DBA group as well as other coordinators involved in migrations and must be able to research and clearly articulate progress and status of scripts that already exist. Some knowledge of PowerShell is a plus. The person must have strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency. 

Good communication skills are required.

• 5 years of DB2 LUW DBA using command-level interfaces (not just vendor GUI's or wrappers)
• 5 years of UNIX and Shell Scripting
