Role Configuration Manager
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • Experience in continuous integration and automated build for .Net and sitecore.
• Experience in tools such as Cruise Control, Nant, TFS etc.,
• Expertise in branching, versioning and extensive usage of configuration management and automated build tools
• Experience in Agile development framework, Scrum Master, tools and process.
• Exposure in programming NET 4.0 , Visual Studio 2010/2012, C#, VB.NET, WCF, SQL 2008 and Windows Azure
• Expertise in Windows Batch Scripting, UNIX Shell Scripting, JAWS Scripting and Scripting for ControlM Scheduler.
• Strong problem solving skills, extremely reliable, quick learner and able to work independently as well as a team member.
• Awareness on third party .Net components with Microsoft technologies.
Roles and responsibility • Establish the configuration management processes, standards and functions that are to be controlled and the information is recorded
• Expertise in track, control and maintain multiple versions of software across multiple environments and manage the integrity very efficiently.
• Establish and set-up continuous integration build for multiple frequencies in a day
• Coordinate with different teams to promote the code to test and prod environments
• This position demands a well-organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work, change directions quickly, manage geographically dispersed resources and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design and programming techniques.
• Should have excellent communication skills and continuously work with senior managers, come up with new strategies, come up with quick solutions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a cross-functional environment.
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills Senior Configuration Manager with Handson experience in Sitecore build and deployment process
