Job Description:This is our direct-client opening for a Java Developer for our client located in New York City, NY. This is a full-time position and the salary DOE. Our client is only interested in candidates who are local to the area and this is a junior to mid-level position.
A NYC based software vendor is looking for a Java Developer to assist with the design, development and delivery of ultra-high-performance foreign exchange and algorithmic trading technology. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate and innovate with a team of highly regarded financial services technology veterans to service the needs of top tier banks and hedge funds in the foreign exchange trading community.
A Day in the Life
Development, maintenance and testing of state-of-the-art foreign exchange technology.
Collaborate with team on product design and best practices.
Assist with product delivery and on-going product support.
What You Bring to the Team
Strong programming skills with Java
0-3 years of programming experience.
Strong problem solving skills.
Bright, energetic, personable.
Strong Communication Skills
Must be very reliable, organized and thorough.
Ability to work independently.
Real-time trading systems development, preferred, but not required..
Foreign Exchange preferred, but not required.
Sun Certified Java Programmer preferred, but not required.
