Job Description:Title :            Data Network Architect / Consultant
Location:       Corning, CA
Duration:        Permanent


·         Should be CCIE Lab Certified
 
  1. Data Network Design, Build and Deployment
  2. Build, configure and deliver network integration solution 
  3. Producing 'as build' network project documentation
  4. Transition all installed project handover to Operational Support
  5. Attending internal and external project kickoff meetings
  6. Working with Presales and/or Design Consultant on the high level design approval 
  7. Understand and deliver detailed customer requirements
  8. Comprehensive understanding of major data networking technologies and concepts 
  9. In-depth knowledge and understanding of all major vendors products 
  10. Continually develop, maintain and apply expert technical knowledge and skills within vendor product and technology markets identified and defined by business and vendor portfolio 
  11. To lead the project implementation phase and be responsible for delivery of projects on time and on budget. 
  12. Network strategy and consultancy services.
  13.  Assessment and providing Recommendation reports
  14. Provide network design services which meet and exceed the needs of customer
  15. Propose and Validate BoM for Network Infrastructure solutions.
  16. Preparing Scope of Work and Project Plans for the Solution.
  17. Preparing High Level & Low Level designs as per proposed Solution.
  18. Design and Implementation of Routing and Switching technologies.
  19. Design and implementation of Data Centres.
  20. Wireless LAN design, Implementation and Troubleshooting.
  21. Design and Implementation of Advanced Technologies (WAN Optimization).
  22. Maintaining the network's integrity at all times
  23. Troubleshooting and repairing network issues, as well as developing, applying and enforcing best practices and policies
  24. Monitoring and performing routine tests on an assigned system and reporting results.
  25. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvements
  26. Contributing and producing regular status reports as required
  27. Working with 3rd party hardware and Telco suppliers to ensure delivery expectations are met and issues escalated accordingly
  28. Escalating overall none delivery issues in timely and structured manner as required
  29. Providing day to day hands on technical support across multiple services
  30. Working as part of a project in a demanding environment where team work is key to delivering and meeting client commitments
  31. Complete varied complex/non-standard tasks and may coordinate/oversee work of others
  32. Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents
  33. Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures, in a timely fashion
  34. Create project documentation and procedures
  35.  Closely work with Project Managers and customer technical authority and ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables.

Participate as ultimate escalation point for vendor/product & customer technical faults
