Location: virtual; onshore – 100% REMOTE PROJECT
Duration: Long Term
JOB DESCRIPTION:

- 5+ years of experience in Python programming using RESTful APIs, MySQL and XML for enterprise/Cloud infra management.
- Knowledge of OpenStack core components and sub-projects.
- Experience in Python programming to extend and customize OpenStack components.
- Experience in REST API integration to integrate OpenStack with other tools for Orchestration, Monitoring, and so on.
- Convert high level design to a detailed OpenStack design with well-defined integration points and interfaces.
- Experience in Programming with the Virtualization layer APIs (e.g., KVM/Libvirt and ESX/vCenter API).
- Experience in selecting, designing and developing a tool-chains with loosely coupled software components (e.g. Chef, Nagios, Crowbar) to perform specific technical functions.
- Continuous integration in a Github/Jenkins automated build environment and using autmtead testing tools.
- Experience with Agile Project Management.

Job Title: OpenStack/Cloud Metering Engineer

OpenStack/Cloud Metering Engineer: Experience in metering resources usage in a large multi-tenant OpenStack Cloud environment to support billing.
- 5+ years of experience in measuring and reporting enterprise or Cloud infrastructure resource usage and billing.
- Experience in measuring VM, compute, storage and network usage using any of the common metering applications and providing the data to billing applications in a multi-tenant environment.
- Experience in Ceilometer APIs and using them from a Java billing application will be a plus though not required.
- Experience with Agile Project Management.

- Overall responsibility for implementing the design of the Data Center technical architectures and solutions as laid out by architecture and engineering
- Verify that the architectures and solutions meet the defined requirements and standards
- Validate that the system and network technical architectures and solutions integrate as expected
- Understand design impacts, potential issues and tradeoffs, and opportunities for enhancement
- Service Introduction, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, and Asset Management
- Will execute transition and validate environments working with
- Lead in conducting continuous service improvement and working with client architects and engineers on inputs to improve designs and operations
- Provide transition documentation to Senior Developers and Admins
REQUIRED SKILLS:
