Job Title: Midlevel SAP Basis Administrator
Client: State of NC 
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Raleigh, NC
 
The SAP BASIS Administrator will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support network for the NCDOT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system utilizing SAP software. The fiscal accountability and management of DOT's diverse activities is extremely complex and requires a robust business system that will provide meaningful, accurate, and timely information for the various needs of public/private end users, the Federal and State government and departmental and administrative requirements. The complexity of these businesses requires an expertly managed and staffed support team. This support team is responsible for ensuring the users of these systems can competently perform their jobs and have reached their full potential as it relates to the use of the various ERP applications. This requires a skilled and dedicated team to ensure the on-going operations are not adversely impacted while implementing and integrating new applications in a cost efficient and appropriate manner. 


Job Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required:

- 4 years' experience in SAP technologies in AS_JAVA platform, such as Portal, BO, PI, BI_JAVA
- Participated in a minimum of 1 full life-cycle SAP implementation
- Proven technical experience to manage and support SAP including general Basis Administration, Work Bench Organizer, Data Dictionary, Transport Management system, Client Strategy, System Landscape and On-line Support System
- Proven experience as end-user for SAP Solution Manager
- Proven experience with analysis and design.
- Excellent communication skill (written, verbal, presentations)
- Excellent organization, analytical, planning and scheduling skills
- Ability to resolve highly complex problems.
- Proven experience with financial processes analysis and modification.
- Self-starter who can work with a large and diverse team of business, management and IT individuals.
- Proven experience working with large project teams.
- Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), SAP
