Front-end Engineer

Key Skill Sets: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Fireworks, Backbone.js

Embedded within a product team and mentored by its principal Front-end Engineer you'll expand your knowledge of modern frameworks, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 as you learn to build and evangelize a compelling user experience for health care providers.

Must Haves:

·         2+ years web development experience or robust portfolio

·         Viable Javascript abilities, both raw form and using common libraries

·         Capable of translating high fidelity mockups into quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

·         Competent cropping & optimizing production artwork using a design tool such as Fireworks, Photoshop, or Illustrator

·         Comfortable providing time estimates and accepting feedback loops

·         Proven collaboration skills but also a resourceful self-starter that can work independently with simple instruction

·         Understands how the web works

Even Better:

·         Past experience in enterprise software and/or health care

·         Experience building browser independent web applications

·         Exposure to recent frameworks like Backbone.js, mustache, etc

·         Comfortable with a highly iterative lean/agile methodology

·         Curiosity for user experience and crafting products that delight

·         Exceptional execution, obsess over the details, every pixel counts
