Position: Perl Developer

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6+ Month

Face to face is required.

"Perl Developer" and SQL and "object-oriented" and ETL and "UNIX/LINUX"

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include:

·         Enhance existing core data processing code and build new application features.

·         Work closely with our Product Team to ensure speedy delivery and integrity of data.

·         Analyze and debug data workflow issues.

·         The job will primarily involve Perl development with SQL and eventually NoSQL.

Qualification/Experience

The desired candidate will possess:

·         2 year minimum of relevant work experience, including extensive programming experience and Object Oriented skills.

·         BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field.

·         Excellent software development skills in Perl or similar scripting language. At least one year of object-oriented Perl is required.

·         Excellent SQL experience. Experience tuning performance on MySQL desired.

·         Excellent understanding of high performance data processing systems. Experience with high-scale, distributed data driven development (hands-on experience with ETL desired).

·         UNIX/LINUX background.

·         Familiarity with business and supply chain data desired. Knowledge of MDM (master data management) desired.

·         Good problem solver and detail oriented.
