Role: Data analyst
Location: Erlanger, Kentucky
Duration: 6 to 8 Month Contract with probable extension
Interview: Telephonic.
Experience – Minimum 7 years in data analyst / data architecture roles
Architectural Analyst opportunity. The candidate selected will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring processes, data, hardware, and software against unknown enterprise architecture standards and recommending improvements to actual or assumed standards.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis, Data Architecture and Data Modeling for multiple projects and systems in a heterogeneous operating environment.
- Analysis, design, and documentation includes current, transitional and future state models, architecture and system interactions.
- Deliverables include ERD, Data Models, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Gap Analysis and process flow documents.
Required Experience/Education:
- Expertise creating data models, data flow diagrams and system context diagrams (concept, logical, physical levels).
- Expertise with business intelligence foundational technologies (RDBMS, ETL, BI tools, MDM, Big Data).
- Experience with the following technologies: ERwin, Oracle DB, Oracle BI, Informatica, DB2, Essbase, Microsoft SQL Server & SSIS,SSRS,SSAS.
- Experience with ERP systems and ERP data models.
- Expertise with UML and Design Patterns. Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Project, Visio, Power Point, Word).
- Experience in other technologies is a plus (PeopleSoft, SAP, ESB, IMS).
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
