Hiring: Senior Java Architect / Harrisburg,PA
Direct Client
Job Title: Senior Java Architect
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duration: 3+months

Description: The Department requires technical expertise in the development of common, reusable components that will provide for 'faster time to market' for critical and/or high priority projects such as ePermitting, Outdoor Advertising Devices, Marcellus Shale, and BMS Pontis Replacement.
We also require assistance in the following tasks for the initiatives mentioned above: business rules engine setup/deployment, data conversion, data modeling, development of application & system architecture, interfacing with existing department systems, web services, user authentication & security, modification and/or development of application frameworks.
This will require a Data Architect with advanced skills in all of the areas mentioned as well as extensive knowledge/experience with PennDOT Application Systems.

2. Develop common components as part of the ePermitting Process that can be leveraged by subsequent application development teams.
3. Research the feasibility/benefit of setting up/deploying a business rules engine.
