Oracle Application Engineer

IT Applications team is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated, scalable corporate applications. We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Application Engineer with exceptional skills in building solutions using Oracle technologies. In this position you will help design and engineer efficient, scalable and sustainable solutions for the Finance & Infrastructure Tools team at Facebook

Responsibilities

·         Be an integral member in the design, analysis, development and deployment of multiple enterprise application projects.

·         Work closely with Technology Partners on enhancements and new solutions.

·         Collaborate with the team members to help build efficient, supportable and scalable solutions.

·         Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload efficiently.

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.

·         Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Oracle development.

·         Preferably 3+ years of experience working with Oracle R12 applications.

·         Exceptional skills in SQL and PL/SQL development with strong experience in handling large volumes of data, performance tuning.

·         Experience in developing with ADF, OAF, Java, XML and XML Publisher, Web Services, Unix Shell Scripting, PLSQL.

·         Proven ability in developing complex extension extending standard oracle functionality along with the ability to create standalone solutions desired.

·         Strong analytical skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, with an emphasis on attention to details.
