Title: Java Engineer

Location: Boston MA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Description:

An experienced Backend Software Engineer with strong

database experience (ideally PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB). With Java or

Scala and Akka or Storm cluster data processing experience.

Required Qualifications :

·         BS in Computer Science or related field

·         2+ years developing RESTful APIs

·         2+ years experience with one or more: Scala, Ruby, JavaScript, Java,

·         Ruby, or Python

·         2+ years experience with two or more of: SQL and NoSQL data stores

·         Experience using ORM frameworks including: Oracle, MySQL, Mongo, Hadoop,

·         or Cassandra

·         Experience with linux and Amazon Web Services

·         Experience with DevOps including Chef and Jenkins

Nice  to have:

·         Real-time distributed processing systems (Storm or Akka)

·         Built and run high availability solutions on AWS
