Role: Data Analyst   Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools preferred   Duration of Contract: 6-12+ months ________________________________________ Position Description (the more details the better): Data Analyst The Data Analyst role falls into the Data Management & Business Intelligence practice area at our health care client, through which our consultants provide a broad spectrum of services to help our clients define and implement a strategy to deliver lasting and mission-critical information capabilities.  Data Analysts at health care client devise creative solutions to solve a variety of data related business challenges, depending on the industry and needs of our clients.  They perform a wide range of activities from start to finish on projects such as building a new enterprise data warehouse, designing and developing a management dashboard for a healthcare client, and managing a large and complex data migration effort. Top 3-5 must have skills: Strong knowledge of databases (SQL server, Teradata etc.) and ETL frameworks (Informatica, SSIS, etc.) Adept at distilling technical requirements from business requests Proven ability to produce and own applicable high quality deliverables that meet client needs Excellent interpersonal, team management, facilitation and communication skills; must be able to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the client's organization. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.) preferred Experience with data integration tools (i.e, Informatica, SSIS, and DataStage) preferred Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools preferred Degree Requirement (if any): yes 4 year
