Job Description:Position: PeopleSoft Financial Developer
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:
- This position is responsible for PS Financials programming (incl analysis, design, implementation and testing) supporting both application software and database development for application enhancement, development work and the setup of systems interfaces and reports.
- Responsibilities include researching/documenting technical designs, writing/executing unit test plans, researching/resolving/testing defects, authorizing/maintaining technical documentation of system design, modifications/end-user documentation, and providing technical production support
- The ideal candidate will be experienced in the development of customizations, interfaces and programs following standard project management methodology (production of project plans, issue tracking, updates to management, system testing and project monitoring).
- This position also performs as a disaster recovery backup, and requires demonstrated skills to develop, implement and test disaster recovery functions using backup technologies as well as strong security skills to develop data security for the operating system, software, data, and hardware.


Job Requirements: Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of PeopleSoft Financial Development experience, preferable version 9.1 and later
- 5+ years of PeopleTools Development experience including:
- 8.5x PeopleTools (version 8.53 preferred)
- Application Designer
- Application Engine (AE)
- BI/XML Publisher
- Integration tools
- PS Query Reporting
- Security
- Strong SQL experience
- 3+ years of Financial cross-module experience;
- Project management techniques familiarity.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Preferred skills:
- Conversion experience.
- Financials – GL,KK (Commitment Control), AP, Project Costing, AM, AR/Billing, Grants, Contracts, Purchasing.
- HCM familiarity/experience.
