Looking for a network engineer with strong knowledge of LAN, WAN and Wireless and possesses strong troubleshooting skills in a Cisco environment. 

Need to be able to work under pressure, be very organized and have very solid documentation and communication skills. 

This is a fast paced environment and can burn a person out if they are not capable of handling the workload and keeping an appropriate sense of urgency in place. 

Candidate must be flexible, outgoing and able to work with other team members.

Job Description:

·         Implement network solutions and technologies

·         Configure, install and maintain routers, switches, access-points, and firewalls.

·         Configure, test and deploy technology solutions

·         Ex. routing protocols, VPN connections, access lists, VLANs, spanning-tree, QoS, and others

·         Provide Network Support

·         Provide 2^nd level technical support regarding network connectivity and performance

·         Perform on-call duties in rotation with other team members

·         Resolve trouble tickets / work orders as required

·         Maintain and support circuit connectivity to corporate network

·         Maintain and support site-to-site and remote access VPN connections

·         Project Planning, Documentation and Change Management

·         Develop implementation/project plans for approved network solutions or technologies.

·         Develop documentation for equipment, infrastructure and technology additions.

·         Develop user manuals as required

·         Develop and maintain failover procedures for relevant network equipment and technologies

·         Provide network performance and status reports to management as required.

·         Detailed documentation of all network changes, installations and removals through our change management processes

·         Diagramming updates related to activity

·         Research or test applicable technologies and solutions as assigned or where appropriate

·         Assist business units with network requirements discovery

·         Assist with ongoing network and regulatory audits

·         Perform corrective tasks for issues identified in the network audit report

·         Work on special assignments as required
