Performance Tester

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $45/hr

In-person interview is required after a phone screen– no Skype

US Citizens and green card holders only

Description

You will participate on a Test team responsible for the Performance testing of systems to ensure delivery of a quality assured application to production. Working individually, you will deliver Performance testing. The technical environment is a Microsoft web-services platform including .NET, SQL, IIS, REST, JSON, Sharepoint, Mobile.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Performance Testing role working in the following areas:
• Performance Testing within an Agile Project
• Create Performance Test Script
• HP Performance Tool Set
• Create and Execute Effective load, stress, and performance tests
• REST and Web Services
• Performance Test Design to support distributed applications
• Ideally experienced in the HP Toolset including Quality Centre, Performance Centre and at least one additional performance testing toolset.
• Good experience in client-facing roles
• Ideally experience of leading small teams in project delivery
• Experience working within multi-location teams
• Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-Functional Test Phases.
• Excellent knowledge of current Test Tools in the market place
• Ability to work and team effectively with clients and other management personnel across geographies
