Job Description:

Web Sphere/Portal experience with Admin and Developer experience Responsibilities: Supporting all the portal applications throughout all the environments Debugging the application issues and providing solutions Working with Deployment Manager Framework. Participating in WebSphere Portal 6.1 to 8 upgrade activities WSRP between Web logic Portal & WebSphere Portal Working on Nodes POC Working on J2EE app tools site changes (Script & UI changes)Experience:7 years of experience in portal development, preferably Web Logic & WebSphere portal Hands on experience in Scripting Python or Shell Strong Java / J2EE knowledge

Skill2 - Scripting Infra (L3)

[Advanced Shell Scripting] -Development of Scripts for complex Data parsing, Analysis and Report generation -Development of Scripts for Disk monitoring, Network load tracking & management. System Monitoring and Diagnostics, Recovering from crashes, Performance tuning.

Skill3 - Middleware Performance Tuning (L3) Analyze Memory leaks, Java Thread dumps. Providing solutions to optimize APPS/Web/MQ infra

Skill4 - MQ Administration (L3)

Performing IBM WebSphere MQ admin activities such as Perormance Tuning, Capacity planning, BCP, Cluster Design / implementation / Troubleshooting

Essential Skill(s)

Skill1 - Web logic Portal (L1)

Good working knowledge of Java/J2EE Web development using struts and JSF Knowledge of other Oracle products from Oracle suite Developing Oracle Portal template and style sheet Experience in development and testing of portal based application using Oracle Portal server Working knowledge of at least one RDBMS

Skill2 - WebSphere Admin (L2)

App server Domain/Instance creation, App server Performance Monitoring and Tuning, Deploying Applications Shell / Perl scripting with respect to App server Admin Tasks, Patch deployment, Patch Acquisition and Testing, Application Deployment Additional Skill(s)

Skill3 - Java-J2EE (L1)

Should be aware of the fundamentals and basics on J2EE Overview, Architecture, Components, Clients, Containers, Technologies (overview of HTML, JavaScript, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Struts, XML,EJB,?..), Request handling and coding knowledge. Should understand - what is unit testing (Screen testing, Class testing etc. what to use when)
