The keys to this position besides the listed requirements are good communication, excellent with reports, development experience with R12, experience with BOM and shipping experience in the Order to Cash side along with the PL/SQL requirements.  (This is direct feedback from the manager.) I filled my clients last position with these same requirements!

 Position: Oracle Applications Developer

Important Information:

• MUST start this coming Monday, 6/30/2014

• Can be located out of town, but must be available for Skype interview

• Position will be remote for first 3-4 weeks

• During the first 3-4 weeks, this consultant will be working India hours (8/9pm to 4/5am) – a person in India will be transferring the project to this person so that is why they must work these hours in the beginning

• After the first 3-4 weeks, this person will need to be on-site in Aliso Viejo working normal 8am-5pm hours

Responsibilities: -- Work closely with Business Analyst to fully understand business requirements. -- Estimate required work efforts to complete assigned projects/enhancements. -- Identify and address potential technical risks and impacts of assigned projects/enhancements. -- Effectively work with other teams, (e.g. DBA's, System Administrators, etc.) Qualifications: -- Extensive experience as an Oracle application developer (E-Business suite).

-- Thorough knowledge of Oracle Application architecture. -- Strong technical and functional knowledge of the Oracle e-Business suite of which at least 5 years experience in Order to Cash modules (OM, AR, INV, and QP). -- Release 12 Development experience required. -- Proficient in application tools such as SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and ADI. -- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Work Flow. -- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions. -- Ability to work independently with limited general supervision. -- Familiarity with IS process and project life cycles. -- A bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent. -- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -- Excellent interpersonal skills.
