Senior Java DeveloperDescription: Hands-on in software design methodologies, architecture, modeling, frameworks, coding practices etc.  This developer should absolutely love doing coding, design, and hands-on work.
 
Responsibilities
?              Design and develop software based on business and functional requirements
?              Multitask as necessary to handle long term and short term deliverables along with immediate production issues
?              Debug and unit test software
?              Maintain as well build new features in software
?              Partner, divide responsibilities and leverage offshore development resources as required.
?              Help with deployment in test and production environments
?              Meeting deadlines.
?              Maintain strong professional presence with regard to working hours, taking ownership, delivering.
?              Partner, respect and collaborate with other team members and peers.
 
Requirements (knowledge / skills)
?              Strong organizational skills and an ability to work without direct supervision
?              Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
?              Ability to work with teams in different time zones
?              Hands on with strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
?              6+ years' work experience in the area of design and development using Java and J2EE technologies
?              Strong understanding of J2EE full cycle development
 
Additional (specific) Requirements
?              Strong object oriented software development experience using design patterns
?              Good Experience with Java Script and JS frameworks like JQuery, Angular, Backbone, GWT, ExtJS
?              Strong experience coding in Java technologies and frameworks like JSP, JSTL, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JAXB, Struts, Hibernate, Maven, log4j and Junit
?              Strong experience with Java Spring and Spring modules like Security, Mail, Batch, MVC
?              Strong XML technology experience such as XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSLT, etc.
?              Solid understanding of Java Web Services WSDL, SOAP, XML, RESTful, Web Services Development Kit
?              Strong in database technologies: Oracle, MySQL
 
Education
?              Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Computer Systems, Computer /Electrical Engineering
