Purpose: This position will support the Sr. Program Director Enterprise Asset Management Services (EAMS). A key focus of EAMS is Our clients Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM), a work management system that will utilize work and asset management system technologies (work orders) to maximize the performance of the construction and maintenance workforce, as well as ensure regulatory compliance of all inspection requirements. CLIENT has selected IBMs Maximo EAM System for implementation and the EAM Developer will play a major role in the development and ongoing support of this complex enterprise system.

Primary Role:
Provide software development services for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Services Department on Maximo projects. Participate in the design, development, deployment and support of custom Maximo applications. Develop and document details technical designs to meet business requirements. Perform solution and system testing as required. Identify areas of customization and provide solutions that meet business requirements


Job Requirements: Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of application development and maintenance programming.
• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in developing custom solutions for Maximo 7.x.
• Must be able to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and develop applications to meet the specifications, including designing and delivering user interfaces.
• Must have the ability to create and update advanced technical documentation.
• Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a project team environment
• Must have experience with:
  • Maximo 7.x
    • MBO (Maximo Business Objects)
  • Java / J2EE application or Server development - must have
  • ANSI-SQL or equivalent expertise in developing SQL Queries
  • MyEclipse/Eclipse (or equivalent development workbenches)
  • SVN (Source code management tools, SVN OR equivalent)
• Special consideration for candidates with Visual C# development experience, or mobile/offline applicaiton development
• Transportation or railroad system experience a plus
