•    Develop product expertise and train team members on customization capabilities to maximize results, including data acquisition and population strategies
•    Leverage the latest technologies to solve complex problems facing the health care industry

Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 months +

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Scope, build, document, and enhance custom integration interfaces for clients on a multi-framework-based platform
•    Ensure software quality through internal validation, regression testing, and user acceptance testing
•    Work with cross-functional teams to analyze customization needs, design and prototype customizations, and evaluate approaches
•    Develop product expertise and train team members on customization capabilities to maximize results, including data acquisition and population strategies
•    Leverage the latest technologies to solve complex problems facing the health care industry
Mandatory Skills:
•    2+ years of experience developing integration solutions
•    Development experience with all of the following:
•    Web applications in Java
•    Dynamic scripting languages, e.g. PHP, Perl, or Python
•    Messaging technologies, e.g. JMS or HL7 over LLP
Desired Skills:
•    Development experience with the following: High volume transactional systems, Java using MVC, CakePHP, MirthConnect, Pentaho, PostgreSQL, SOAP, XML
•    Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field, with emphasis on Information Systems Management or Databases
•    Experience with health standards, e.g. 5010, XDR/XDM, HL7, CCD
•    Knowledge of health care concepts, best practices, coding schemes, and standard transactions
