Job Description:Position : Mid Level ETL Data Warehouse Test Engineer
Location : Chanhassen, MN
Duration : 6 months
 
Need only locals to MN
 
 Responsibilities:
 
1.     Interact with the developers and business to understand requirements and timelines
2.     Create test cases and test beds
3.     Execute tests and provide test results
4.     Test software manually and with auto testing programs when releases occur
5.     Identify and reports risks and problems with new software
6.     Assist the developers with code debugging and compliance issues
7.     Develop and maintain automation scripts
8.     Run data creation scripts
9.     Interact with vendors to test 3^rd party integrations with Life Time Fitness
10.   Write basic SQL to verify test results
 
 Minimum Qualifications   
 
·         Education: Four-year college degree in related field
 
·   Experience:
Ø  Minimum of 2-4 years of Hands-On QA technical experience
Ø  Minimum 2 years of ETL, Data Warehouse testing
Ø  Experience in back-end database testing; creating and analyzing database queries, preferably SQL Server 2000 and up
Ø  Expert in Query writing, multiple complex joins
Ø  Ability to create clear, concise detail oriented test cases.
Ø  Strong comprehension of an SDLC process
Ø  Experience in agile/iterative environments
Ø  Proficient at decomposing requirements for projects of simple to high complexity
Ø  Skilled at analysis and troubleshooting in Data Warehouse environments
Ø  Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ø  Experience with JIRA
