Job Description:
• experience in NOC/TAC related environment
• A Bachelor's degree in Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science/MCA/MS or equivalent
• Direct experience with IT Managed Services industry including intermediate understanding of strategic and tactical components.
• Previous experience in supporting IT applications that are in hosted datacenter environments
• Deep knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration 
• Good understanding of Databases
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.  
• Intermediate knowledge of network management, network availability & Performance Management.
• Intermediate understanding of Change Management process 
• Proactive monitoring to minimize impacts to application availability as per SLA. 
• Automating tasks with Perl scripts, Java programs and SQL queries for proactive monitoring.
•Production support activities including analyzing & executing scripts and monitoring the log files. Periodic health checks on applications/systems and alarm p
 rocesses
• As a 24X7X365 organization, shift work, holidays and on-call responsibilities will be required.
• Certifications desired include:
o VMware Certified professional ( Desirable)
o RHCE (Desirable)
o ITIL V3 Certified (Desirable)
o CCNP or CCIE (Desirable)
