Position: Sr. QA Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA / Irvine, CA / Plano, TX
Duration: Long Term
 
Responsibilities:
 

Ø  Review business requirements and specifications for consistency in quality standards and preparation for testing. Ø  Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ø  Execute test cases and/or automation scripts for both functional and regression tests. Ø  Analyze test results; perform SQL queries for data comparison and validation. Ø  Record and track issues/defects; follow-through with fix resolution and validation. Ø  Work closely with the business and development groups from conception to completion of multiple simultaneous projects.

Key Result Areas:
Ø  The Senior Analyst, Quality Assurance needs to be well versed in all aspects of software quality engineering with hands-on experience in creating and maintaining both manual test cases and automated test suites.
Ø  This position requires highly effective organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience:

Ø  2 or 4 year Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

Ø  3+ years' experience in software quality assurance and test engineering

Ø  2+ years using test automation tools for functional and load testing Ø  Experience in testing web applications, including SaaS framework, web services, and data integration Ø  Experience in testing Mortgage, Finance, or Banking systems and applications Ø  Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills Ø  Ability to deal with changing priorities to complete tasks in a short period of time Ø  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ø  Experience working with geo-located teams (i.e. offshore) Ø  Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and debugging skills Ø  Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ø  A strong professional work ethic and a positive energetic attitude

Ø  Proficient with MS Office Ø  Working knowledge of HP Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Pro (QTP) functional test automation tools Ø  Capable of doing database queries and data validation in SQL Server. Ø  Understand MS Visio business logic diagrams (i.e. flow charts, swim lanes, etc.) Ø  Experience with automated load testing tools (i.e. Load Runner) Ø  Knowledge of MKS Integrity Ø  Knowledge of SharePoint Ø  Working knowledge of MS Excel features (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
