Position : Hadoop/ Java Developer

Duration: 6 Month Contract

LOCATION: Irvine, CA

INTERVIEW: 30 minute phone, 1 hour Face to face

Responsibilities:

•             Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design

•             Perform analysis of vast data stores for the purpose of uncovering insights into car buying and selling behaviors

•             Implement solutions using the latest big data and machine learning technologies

•             Create scalable and high-performance web services for data tracking

Skills:

•             5+ years of clearly demonstrated experience developing efficient and scalable software solutions

•             Strong professional Java development experience

•             Big-data project implementation experience using Hadoop, HBase, and related tools/technologies

•             Object Oriented Design, web services, application and database programming experience

•             Passionate about writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code

•             Experience with Unix or Linux, including shell scripting
