Job Title      : Software Tester

Job Responsibilities :-
The Software Tester provides software quality assurance services for projects and systems. Oversees the maturation of a work unit(s) development methodologies and confirms regulatory compliance as it applies to software support for the business areas served. Supports the development of deliverables, defines and analyzes product validation for new and/or modified applications. Investigates operational and process problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
Serves as quality subject matter expert across each regulatory body and team methodology and acts as a consultant to colleagues and customers.
Devises and applies quality controls for in-house and vended product. Participates in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Develop test library and scripts in test management tools. Other qualifications include ability to cross-analyze software development documentation (business requirements, function specification, design specification) to ascertain system functionality / features.
Experienced with the preparation of testing reports and coordinating project testing; with software development lifecycles as they relate to product verification and validation; and in analyzing and advising on software development documentation techniques.

Responsible for developing, analyzing and executing manual and automated test plans and test cases. Create all test artifacts, perform functional and regression testing and coordinate the testing efforts of multiple projects.
Must have up-to-date knowledge regarding OS and browsers. Experience testing on mobile devices and web-based systems. Minimum of two years' experience developing and executing test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test summary, etc. Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Test Manager.

 
 Candidate must have ability to focus on details and be able to see the big picture. Candidate may take direction from multiple people and manage tasks effectively. Must be able to communicate well written and verbally. Candidate must be comfortable coordinating the testing effort for complex mid-size projects, ensuring testing is thorough and completed on schedule.
Experience with Agile methodology required. Experience with SharePoint for project documentation.
 
 Must have excellent communication and listening skills.
Candidates must be able to work independently, take initiative, commit to and meet deadlines, process oriented, outstanding organizational skills, and handle multiple tasks with differing priorities.
