[Drug and Device Law] More Shameless Plugs, Freebies, and Discounts - Courtesy of Your Bloggers
Posted by Law
Some of your bloggers are speaking at upcoming events – events that are either free or offered at reduced price to our readers.
Coming up in a couple of weeks – specifically on January 19 between 1:00 and 2:30 p.m. (EST) – will be a “Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down” webinar presenting the best and the worst drug/medical device decisions of 2015. As readers know, every year we post the top ten best, and worst, drug/device product liability-related decisions of the year. This year we’re once again doing something extra. Bexis, Eric Alexander and Steve McConnell of the Reed Smith side of the blog will discuss all these cases, in webinar that’s free to anyone who wants to tune in. You do have to sign up, though. You can do that, and get more information about the webinar, by visiting this page on the Reed Smith firm website, here.
The other event we’re shamelessly plugging is Bexis’ off-label promotion/First Amendment (and more) “masters” panel presentation at the American Conference Institute (“ACI”) FDA Boot Camp in New York City (at the Carlton Hotel). The entire Boot Camp runs from March 9-11, but for the first time ACI is offering a separate price for attending just the post-conference masters classes. The masters class runs from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 11. It’s entitled, “The Marketing Pendulum Has Swung: Civil and Criminal Liability and the New Paradigm.” ACI is charging $600 for the masters class alone, but mention the blog (or Bexis) and you can attend for $500. To register for the entire conference, or just for the masters class session, please email Bolam Kim, Legal Analyst & Conference Director at ACI to get your discount.
