Position           : Software (Web) Developer

Location          : NYC, NY

Duration          : 6 Months

The developer in this position will be involved in building features and products to enhance client's internal workflow and content management systems.

Overall experience: 4-5 yrs, 2-3 yrs web technology experience, preferred 1-2 yrs in a publishing environment, must be able to manage time and projects, must be a team player and be able to work with others

Coding--

Strong knowledge of .net, vb, C, Ajax, Perl, MS SQL and SOAP coding

Extensive java and javascript experience

Knowledge of Domino/Notes

Knowledge of Perl

JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, and other open source tools is a major plus

Web Technologies--

Strong knowledge of xml databases, xml, xslt, css

Experience with of all common browser platforms: IE, Firefox, Safari, etc

very good to have--

SQL, Mac OS X environment

5 plus years of software development

BS/MS degree in CS, or equivalent.
