Job Description

Client is in the process of developing of an Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) for our government customer. Client is assembling a SharePoint team to support the introduction of a large SharePoint 2010 system in the federal space. The successful candidate will be developing solutions for the SharePoint 2010 platform.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include participating in the design, development, customization and integration efforts of SharePoint solutions involving SharePoint sites, workflows, web parts, and other applications. The successful candidate will be working with SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition supporting mission and mission support functions. Solutions will be aimed at internal, external partner, and general public users.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Experience: 5-10 yrs

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience

Experience:

    5+ years with web application or system development in a U.S. Federal Government setting
    2+ years with SharePoint .NET development or engineering

Skills:

    Web application development using .NET Framework 3.5 and C#
    Programming using the SharePoint object models (client and server), Workflow Foundation (WF), and other Microsoft technologies
    SharePoint solution development using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio, preferably 2010 versions
    Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Document Object Model
    Internet Information Services 7, preferably 7.5

Experience:

    Development, testing and implementation of custom SharePoint solutions
    Ability to work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, development, deployment and support
    Demonstrated capability to produce documentation for system requirements, technical designs, and implementation
    Experience in working with development, quality control, staging, and production environments
    Understanding of complex business rules
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to work independently and within a team environment
    Desirable but not required is work with Microsoft Forefront products; Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint, Forefront Unified Access Gateway, Forefront Identity Manager

Security Clearance:

US citizenship is required. A background check for security clearance purposes is required for hiring. Applicant selected will also be subject to an extensive DOJ government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information prior to the beginning of work. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
