Subject : SQL Server DBA 
Location: Buffalo NY
Duration: 6+ months

(For this position only EAD,GC and citizens are prefered)

Description:
•Seven years of database management experience using MS SQL Databases in large environments
•Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000 – 2008 and Oracle 11g
•Experience meeting Service Level Agreements for an internal client base
•Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical environments
•Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
•Early adapter for new technology and technical concepts
•Demonstrated ability to take initiative
•Familiarity with basic networking, common programming languages (.NET, VB, PowerShell), various hardware platforms (Client, HP) and operating systems (Windows Server 2000-2008)
•Solid in depth of knowledge of large scale VMWare based deployments and interactions with Database environments
•Solid in depth knowledge on database activity in relation to hardware relationships (SAN exp a plus)
•Disaster Recovery Skills/Exp is preferred
•ITIL Training/Certification is preferred
•Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
