Position : Oracle System Engineer
Location : Boca Ration,FL
Duration : 1 Year contract
Must haves:
Oracle Application Server(OAS) 10g
Weblogic 10.x/11g
Unix
Oracle Internet Directory(OID) 10g or 11g
Responsibilities:
Serve as a senior service engineer managing a tower of MidTier technologies for the day to day support (production and non-prod systems) to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity.
Support new implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
Participate in: Hands on support – monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing and providing advanced customer support for servers, O.S. or enterprise-wide applications
Serve as the liaison between internal customers and service providers making sure SLAs are met and service quality is consistent.
Experience:
Work experience in large corporations with rigid change management policies and controls.
Work experience with IT service management tools such as Remedy and Mercury ITG (now PPM).
At least 3 years of experience installing, configuration, administration & production support in the following technologies: Oracle Application Server(OAS) 10g, Weblogic 10.x/11g, Unix, Oracle Internet Directory(OID) 10g or 11g
Experience in global IT environments and with offshore teams.
Experience as administrator in the following technologies: SOA 10g/11g, PeopleSoft 9.1, ADF or OTM.
ITIL certified.
