Position:  SAS DD (Drug Development)

Location: NJ

Duration: 6+ months

 

The position will be responsible for the system architecture design for an IT project to be deployed in SAS Drug Development environment. He/she will work closely with multiple service providers and internal IT organization to define integration points, data exchange mechanism, backend data structure and fallback strategy. He/she will work with project managers and technical team to ensure the solution developed will meet regulatory and compliance requirements and satisfy company security policies. He/she will be responsible for the system and technical design documents and driving unit testing and performance testing.

 

Skills:

·         Bachelor or master degree in computer science or statistics. 5+ Years working experience with M.S or 7+ years with B.S.

·         SASDD specialist who can lead a team effort in system design and implementation.

·         Working knowledge and experience in SASDD API is highly desirable.

·         Strong communication, organizational and planning skills.

·         Good understanding of the clinical development process. Working knowledge of GCP, regulatory requirements, SDLC standards, quality control, compliance and validation.

·         In depth knowledge in SDTM, SAS base products and SAS Drug Development. Experience in Oracle/SQL Server is highly desirable.

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical parties. Be able to translate business requirements into functional and technical specification.

·         Experience with object-oriented programming, performance tuning and testing is a plus.

 

ideal location is in Raritan, NJ.  candidate may be able to work from titusville, NJ at times.
