Title: Lead Data Warehousing Consultant (with STRONG exp in ETL,  COGNOS, Business Objects along with .Net and SQL)

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of various application components, using Microsoft .Net and SQL Server Other responsibilities include:

·         Work closely with team members, including business analysts, quality assurance, infrastructure, and project management

·         Function independently on assignments with minimal supervision while remaining highly collaborative

·         Create and clearly articulate optimal software designs to meet the solution objectives

 

Education

·         Bachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering; Master's preferred

 

Technical qualifications:

·         9-15 years' experience developing complex business applications

·         Advanced .NET (C#, ADO.NET)

·         Advanced understanding of data analytics and data warehousing (Cognos or business objects or crystal reports)

·         Advanced understanding of .NET Architecture

·         Advanced understanding of Microsoft solution stack

·         Solid SQL Server (stored procedures, TSQL, schema design)

·         Solid database experience

·         Adept at N-tier architecture: UI, business layers and data layers; Distributed client and server platform development (core framework, service and component development

·         SOA concepts and development (directory, lookup, binding/enlistment services, request/response, REST and SOAP protocols)

·         Advanced understanding, familiarity and implementation of industry-standard algorithms and design patterns

·         Adept at software design (e.g., identification of key drivers, quantitative and qualitative trade off analysis, solution selection)

·         Adept at leveraging and implementing key code metrics (e.g., code coverage and complexity analysis)

·         Advanced understanding of software development lifecycle techniques

·         Advanced understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques and principles

·         API development/leadership (includes public and private interfaces; include extension and deprecation)
