Title: ETL QA Tester (2) & ETL LEAD Tester (1)

          $35.00 ALL INCLUSIVE –REGULAR LEVEL

Overview:

QA Testing Consultant will be responsible for the testing, benchmarking, and SUPERVISING of the TESTING in a Business Intelligence applications. This responsibility includes developing routine tests, and coordinating the testing effort. This position will work with Developers and Product Managers to develop, maintain, and execute quality assurance testing procedures.

Requirements:

1.       Must have 6-8+ years experience LEADING testing on BI applications including:

a.        Lead all levels of testing within Quality Assurance testing cycle:

                                                  i.      User Acceptance testing,

                                                 ii.      Functionality testing,

                                                 iii.      Regression testing,

                                                 iv.      Performance testing,

                                                 v.      End-to-End System testing on BI applications

b.       Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and "ad-hoc testing" in approved format.

c.        Perform and manage the performance of test cases

d.       Review relevant project documentation and attend meetings as needed

e.        Direct and monitor team tasks

f.         Coordinate with other teams on behalf of the UAT team

g.        Create System Test Exit Criteria Checklist (to be filled out by development vendor)

h.       Create and fill out UAT Entrance Criteria Checklist and UAT Exit Criteria Checklist

i.         Report weekly status, and daily execution status during test execution phases

j.         Manage defects through their lifecycle

k.       Support UAT Analyst to complete project tasks

l.         Perform other related duties as assigned by management

2.       Previous experience providing quality assurance test services for projects and systems for a ETL= BI/Data Warehouse projects including: Ab-Initio, Informatica, DataStage, Cognos, and Business Objects

3.       Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

4.       Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator

5.       Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
