SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THIS PROJECT INCLUDES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BANNER SOFTWARE AT CLIENIT. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO OBTAIN A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER TO ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT ITEMS RELATED TO THIS PROJECT. EXPERIENCE WITH ORACLE SQL, PL/SQL, PHP, MYSQL, ORACLE FORMS, UNIX REQUIRED. BANNER KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop one or more of web, enterprise and customer-facing applications according to specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve application and data issues
Partner with other Analysts to share knowledge and experience
Work with project teams to develop new and improved applications, forms, and reports
Actively participate in system implementations and post production support
Meet project deliverable deadlines; escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner
Estimate and forecast work effort on project deliverables
Maintain systems to optimal performance levels
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
DIRECT WORK EXPERIENCE IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT.
EXPERIENCE WITH ORACLE SQL, PL/SQL, PHP, MYSQL, ORACLE FORMS, UNIX REQUIRED.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH PROJECT TEAM TO DEVELOP SOFTWARE ON AN ACCELERATED TIME SCHEDULE. MUST BE ADAPTABLE TO CONFORM WITH TEAM REQUIREMENTS QUICKLY AND PRODUCE SOLID CODE BASED ON TEAM STANDARDS.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED: EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS (WRITTEN AND ORAL), ADAPTABILITY, FLEXIBILITY, SELF-MOTIVATION, PROBLEM SOLVING, ANALYTICAL THINKING, TIME MANAGEMENT, ABILITY TO WORK EFFECTIVELY IN A STRESSFUL ENVIRONMENT
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
