Title: - Sr. JAVA Developer

Location: - Englewood, CO

Length: - 6 Months +

Job Description:

·         Expertise in Web Service Architecture.

·         Expertise in Spring, Hibernate, Web Logic.

·         Support Architect, design, deliver mechanisms for use in developing n-tiered, enterprise applications in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment.

·         Perform detailed design and implementation of re-usable components while providing technical expertise and mentoring to Development teams.

·         The candidate must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle software dev env. Architect core components using Agile methodology. 

·         This includes creating Detailed Design using UML, Process Flows, Sequence Diagrams, and sometimes pseudo-code level details.

·         Develop and unit test frameworks and mechanisms central to building XML/SOAP-based web services.

·         Maintain and support new and existing libraries and core services in the Enterprise Services Platform (ESP).

·         Develop prototype and architecture for new concepts and technology that would eventually be used by the Development teams.

·         Provide support and mentoring to both senior- and junior-level developers distributed amongst the Development teams.

·         Assist Operations team in optimizing and stabilizing the platform through identifying and tuning performance bottlenecks.

·         BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, followed by 8 or more years of professional software development experience.

·         5+ years of experience with server-side technologies and major application servers.

·         Extremely strong CS fundamentals and analytical abilities.

·         Expertise in Java as well as Object Oriented Design.

·         Experience leading small teams, establishing development practices, and mentoring individuals.
