Job Description:-

The qualified candidate will have customer-centric mobile app design
experience (iOS preferred). The Senior UI Designer is responsible for
creating interaction models and interfaces that help users accomplish
their goals.
The Senior UI Designer designs templates for individual pages as well
as information architectures and navigation flows. The Senior UI
Designer helps ensure that digital interfaces are optimized for
different platforms and devices. The Senior UI Designer helps with
detailed design specifications that communicate to developers how
interfaces should look and behave.

Primary Purpose for the position:-

The Senior UI Designer is responsible for creating new user interface
designs for Web, Android, Apple, and PC products.The Senior UI
Designer must transform complex concepts, including existing web and
mobile applications, into innovative designs that anticipate user
needs.
The Senior UI Designer works to create a superior user experience for
our products.The Senior UI Designer works with software engineers to
transfer user experiences into functional prototypes as well as
operational systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop detailed UI designs for
mobile and web software products.Develop product designs and
wireframes for user interface to the product.Collaborate with project
managers, designers and software engineers to define, design, and
deliver new software products.
Communicate and report UI project progress to others.Keep abreast of
mobile technologies, latest technology trends in all areas of UI
expertise, including best practice by mobile and/or browser platform.

Education/Experience
Minimum level of education or experience necessary to perform the
essential duties of this job:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BE) in Computer Science, User Interface /
Interaction Design, Graphic or Information Design, or a related field.
3-5+ years of user interface design experience for mobile applications
(Apple iOS and/or Android) and web applications, specifically for
entrepreneurial-focused, commercial software products.Excellent visual
(sketches, storyboards, wireframes, screen mockups, flow diagrams,
etc.), verbal, and written communication and presentation
skills.Online portfolio with a range of user-centric UI designs is
preferred.

Superior current knowledge of user experience principles, graphic
design standards, design trends and techniques for web and mobile
software products.

Strong experience application user interface design and interactive
applications. (Minimum of 3 major project designs completed and into
production)

Ability to translate verbal ideas and text requirements into concepts
and designs that demonstrate the user experience.

Superior knowledge of drawing and image manipulation software (e.g.,
Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.) required. InDesign
experience a plus.



Highly Required/Desired Skills:-

*5 Years of experience in principles, graphic design standards, design
trends and techniques for web and mobile software products is Required
*3 Years of experience in Minimum of 3 major project designs completed
and into production is Required
*2 Years of experience in designing using bitmaps and vector artwork
is Required
*5 Years of experience in designing for HTML and HTML 5 applications
is Required

Experience designing wireframes is Required

Mastery of UI design for at least one mobile operating system (Apple
OSX or Android), Microsoft Operating Systems and Mac Operating Systems
is Required

Hands-on experience with interactive application design.

Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-
functional team environment is Required

Ability to understand and maintain brand requirements, goals, and
objectives while pushing creative boundaries is Required

Ability to meet project deadlines / milestones, as set by project team
leads is Required

Demonstrated ability to work across several products and projects
concurrently is Required

Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written is
Required

Ability to quickly adapt to dynamic timelines and requirement changes
is Required

Demonstrated critical-thinking, decision-making, problem-solving
skills, and the ability to work independently is Required

Solid understandings of the software product development process is
Desired

Ability to contribute to project planning and provide time estimates
at various stages during the project lifecycle is Desired
