Job Description:The consultant MUST HAVE the following experience.
- Hadoop Application infrastructure engineering support experience
- 5+ years in a Linux infrastructure engineering support role
- Unix Shell scripting
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting issues with Linux memory, CPU, OS, storage and network
- Good interpersonal skills, including ability to present information to various levels of the organization
- Ability to create documents of high quality. Ability to work in a structured environment and follow procedures, processes, and policies
- Experience developing Hadoop integrations for data ingestion, data mapping, and data processing capabilities
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Ganglia, and Nagios
- Experience with Java, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Pig, and Flume (Hadoop tools and languages)
- Experience in a Windows Infrastructure engineering support role
