Job Description:Total experience in required skill (years):   10+ years
 
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
Skillset:
Minimum experience of 3 - 5 years experience as RMS DBA
Install, patch, configure, and administration, create new user, security role setup of RMS Application.
Setup new environment, configuration and troubleshooting, RIB configuration
AND At least 7 years of DBA experience - 11g and above

JD/Expectations:
- Responsible for DB admin of Oracle Retail MOM Suite of apps
- Responsible for providing day-to-day support and maintenance for key Oracle Retail databases and services of our enterprise application platform
- Responsible for investigating potential problems and issues raised by business users; this includes being on a on-call rotation
- Monitor database events and proactively optimize system performance
- Work with the team to automate reactive procedures where possible, and to promote rapid response to known issues
- Work in conjunction with other IT, application development, and business groups to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements from the database perspective
- Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of the database architecture and the general application functionality used to maintain data integrity
- Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through the effective delivery of technical support and service
