Position: Java Developer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Rochester, NY
Requires an In Person Interview
HM Notes:
This project is a focused system implementation of a feedback loop tool in a legacy system.
If the candidate has used / has experience with content systems or conversion systems that will be a big PLUS.
Job Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and implements Java applications to support business content system requirements.
Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Requires a bachelor's degree in software engineering and at least 6 years of experience in Java software development.
Experience with MySQL and SQL calls essential. Experience with Java, SQL, and XSLT essential. Strong standard coding concepts and solid team skills necessary.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering)
7+ years of experience is preferred
Minimum Requirements:
Java
XML / XML Transformation
Database interaction (MySQL / Oracle)
MQ or Messaging
J2EE / Javabeans
